More pictures of the 1941 APP Guitar
As you can see in these detailed photos, O.W. attached Fine Tuners to his guitar's tailpiece for the G, B and E strings. This was 33-years before Gibson introduced their TP-6 fine tuning tailpiece! It is yet another example of O.W. Appleton's insight and foresight as a guitar designer.
